Foodie Friday: Wine at French Lick Resort

Wine and travel naturally go hand in hand. During your next visit to French Lick Resort, you'll see that wine tastings have been jazzed up to a "flight" approach. Explore the opportunity to try our carefully selected wines that offers you the opportunity to compare! Our flights include food recommendations by our chefs to take your experience over the top, and our staff is happy to help you as you explore the different options offered. When you enjoy your wine tasting (which consists of a trio of 3-ounce pours), keep in mind to first evaluate by sight, then by smell and finally by tasting to receive maximum indulgence. 
For a more casual evening, have a flight of Trinity Oaks wine at Power Plant Bar and Grill. Or, for a  more sophisticated experience, sip a Louis Martini Winery or Benziger Winery (both with origins from Wine Country in Napa, California) at 1875: The Steakhouse, both at French Lick Springs Hotel.




Wine and dessert under the magnificent domed atrium of a historic hotel -- what's not to love?  If you're looking for a wine experience beyond just tasting, French Lick Resort offers a monthly Wine and Dessert Soiree under the atrium at West Baden Springs Hotel. One of our talented pastry chefs craft a variety of desserts with our wine expert's recommendations of pairings. In between each tasting, you'll be served tableside by the pastry chef while the wine expert describes how the chosen wine balances and enhances the flavors you'll be savoring.





There is a plethora of wine-themed events and activites and French Lick Resort year-round with several already planned for the remainder of 2017 as well as the beginning of 2018. Cheers!

Wine down the winter at our magnificent Wine Experience Weekend that will feature a variety of New World and Old World wines. The weekend begins on Saturday evening, when you will enjoy an elegant five-course wine dinner served in the timelessly sophisticated Sinclair's Restaurant. On Sunday, discover what foods pair well with each wine, and enjoy a dynamic cooking demo with our resort chef. Saturday, March 17, and Sunday, March 18, at West Baden Springs Hotel.
